This is because there are people who have questions. People have complained that they see the faces of loved ones in their dream, they are being attacked by loved ones. So, how do they know if these people are actually the ones behind what they are passing through? Because there are instances where these witchcraft attacks can be done with the faces of people you know, with the faces of your loved ones, with the faces of your friends, your relatives, your parents. So it is very important that you understand who these people really are.

Number one way to identify a witch or a wizard is monitoring. Witches are monitoring agents. They love to monitor people, so be on the watch. If there is someone that always wants to know everything about you—they want to know where you go, where you sleep, they want to know where you are in the market, where you went yesterday, where you went in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, in the night—they want to know about your daily activities. All of their questions will be centering on knowing what you did. They want to know every step you take. They want to know how you spend every minute of your life. I am telling you, that person is a witch or a wizard because they are monitoring and reporting agents.
There are people like that. You see them asking unnecessary questions, questions that they shouldn’t ask. You see them trying to interfere in your private life unnecessarily, asking where did this person go. You see them busy going around asking where did this person go, what did this person do, what happened at so-and-so time with this person. I am telling you, that person is a witch or a wizard. Another way to know whether somebody, your friend, your relation, or close associate is a witch is that there is a kind of restriction in their life, which is something I call a “sacred restriction.”
For instance, there are some people who will say that a woman who is seeing her period cannot give them food, they will not eat food from a woman that is on her period, and things like that. You have to be very, very suspicious of those kinds of people because I remember it happened to me. There was somebody, it was a close associate, we used to do things together in the church. Then one day when we were walking in the church, somebody, a lady, brought food for us to eat. I noticed he refused to eat that food. I prayed, and I ate the food. Then, when the person left, I asked him why, and he said because he doesn’t eat like that. He doesn’t eat food from a girl that is on her period. So that is why he didn’t want to eat the food. Then after some time, I began to think over it. This person professes to be born again, so if you are born again, how can you be confessing such? Because you are a spirit, I believe you are living life in the spirit. So why would things like that be bothering you? Why would this affect you, making you not want to eat? So I am not under, I am at liberty as a Christian, as a born-again. I’m at liberty, okay, so I cannot put such restrictions in my life.
Another thing is that there are some people, another kind of restriction is that there are some people when you go to their home, when you visit their home, you see they are uncomfortable when you begin to touch some things or when you begin to go to certain places. For instance, you want to use a mirror in your friend’s house, and they begin to tell you, “No, no, no, this mirror, I don’t share this mirror with someone else, I only use this mirror.” Okay, you want to go to a particular place, they say, “No, no, no, nobody goes here, nobody enters here.” They are kind of uncomfortable, they are kind of not at peace, okay. There are things that you don’t touch, it’s only them in their house, it’s only them that touch it. If you want to do this one, they say, “No.” If you want to go and sit on this bed, they say, “No, no, no, I am the only one that can sit on this bed.” So things like that, I am telling you, that person is a witch because in their kingdom there are certain restrictions, there are certain things that they cannot do.
Another thing is that witchcraft is a spirit of jealousy and envy. So if you see anybody, if you have a friend who is so jealous, who is always envious, okay, envious of you, if you are telling them about good things that are happening to you, if you’re telling them, “Oh, how you bought this new dress,” or that, and you see that jealousy grow in them, it cannot be hidden. It is there. You’ll be seeing it in what they are doing, you’ll be seeing it in their character. I’m telling you, you should stay away from such because you are endangering your life. They are so jealous. Witchcraft is a spirit of jealousy and a spirit of envy. They are so envious because they don’t want anything good to come to you, that is what witchcraft is all about. So if you are telling them about good things, how you got this, how you got that, how somebody gave you a gift, how you received favor, they are against it, okay. The jealousy, the envy grows in them. Sometimes they will say, “Ah, why is it only you? Is it only you that always talks about how good things happen to you? Is it only you that good things happen to?” Instead of them being happy with you and rejoicing with you, they turn against you because you are sharing the good things that happen to you.
Another way to know if somebody is a witch or a wizard is if whenever they visit your house, something bad starts happening to you, then there is a 90% probability that they are a witch or a wizard. Now, because they are usually on assignment, there are people whenever they come to your house, something must happen, something bad, something terrible, something evil will happen. It may not happen when they are there, but when they leave, okay, something evil will start happening. I want you to look into your life very well. If there is any such person in your life, anytime they come to your house, either something bad happens when they are there or after they have left, okay, you start hearing bad news. So do away with such people in your life, okay.
Now, another group of people you should be wary of are those who always visit witch doctors, those who visit sangomas, okay. Anytime you are discussing something with them and you are asking for their suggestion, the only suggestion they can give you is about visiting a sangoma, visiting a witch doctor, visiting a shrine, okay. These people, you see them bragging that they will take somebody’s name to an altar, they take somebody’s name to a shrine, they take somebody’s name to an evil altar, to this bad place or that place. I’m telling you, you have to run for your life because one day they will take your name to that altar, okay. One day they will take your own name. If they can take people’s names, they can also take your name to that altar. So if you have such a friend, you should do away with them because the Scriptures say that light and darkness have nothing in common. Okay, what are you doing with somebody who believes in such things? Okay, they believe in… Even if you are asking them for a solution to anything, they have a native doctor, they have a witch doctor, they have a sangoma, a diviner, a sorcerer that they will always depend on to seek for a solution. So either you are dealing with a witch, or you are dealing with a witch in the future.

It makes them uncomfortable. Whenever you are doing something that will make people recognize you, whenever you are doing something that will make people appreciate what you are doing, they feel so uncomfortable about that thing. I am telling you, you are dealing with a witch. They want to keep you down. They don’t want you to rise. They don’t want anybody to see you because what is witchcraft? Cobwebs. They cover you. They like to cover people so that your talent will not be seen, so that helpers will not come to you, so that you will not receive favor. Anybody that anytime you are receiving favor, anytime that you do something, and people see you and they want to help you, and that person is trying to suppress that thing, that person is a witch or a wizard. If you have such a friend, you should do away with them because I remember one time I had a dream. In that dream, somebody was sitting—I was staying under the bed, and somebody was sitting upon me. So when I woke up, I sought the interpretation of that dream. I was told that person is sitting on my glory, that person—when I began to pray, when I began to pray against anybody occupying my position, against anyone occupying the position of my glory, after some time, I started seeing the effects of that dream because the reaction of the person showed that, yes, something has taken place spiritually and they were occupying a position that they are not supposed to occupy. So they like to sit on people’s glory, they like to shine with people’s glory, they steal people’s glory. That is witchcraft for you.
So, if you have such a friend, do away with them because you are with an unfriendly friend, and that is worse than an enemy that you don’t know. So if you see some of these signs, you know that the person around you, the person you are close to, the person related to you is a witch or a wizard. There are no two ways about that.
