Every foundation has a spiritual dimension because there are spirits behind them, and every spirit possesses power. When we speak of power in this context, we refer to the ability or strength to fulfill the assignments given to them. Each foundation is backed by a spirit tasked with ensuring that its assignments are carried out. Therefore, every foundation has inherent power.
The power of these spirits often manifests as a form of control or dominance over individuals within that family. This is why it can be challenging to break free from the influence of the family you were born into. The spirit of that foundation acts as a master, determining whether you suffer or experience blessings. Everything that happens to you can be orchestrated by the family foundation into which you were born.
Without addressing and undoing the patterns established by your family foundation, achieving success can be elusive. Success is not found in the families of men but in the family of God. Many people invest time and effort into studying and applying success principles, yet they still fail to achieve their goals. This discrepancy often leads to disillusionment with faith communities, where promises of prosperity through giving and righteous living seem unfulfilled. The root issue is not a lack of divine support but the spiritual opposition from the foundation you were born into.
Even righteous actions can be undermined by an adverse foundation. For instance, extensive fasting and prayer may seem ineffective if the spiritual foundation of your family is against you. The foundation may have been tainted by sin, rendering prayers and good deeds as ineffective or even abominable in the eyes of God. This is because the foundational spirits are opposed to your well-being and efforts.
The spiritual blindness that affects many within a family can result in their becoming slaves to these foundational spirits. The spirits of the family foundation exert control and can lead to generational bondage. Every family foundation is a reflection of the spirits controlling it, whether positive or negative.
A foundation is essentially a handover, transferring control of a family to a particular spirit. This could be a positive or negative spirit. For example, a man may perform rituals, such as pouring blood on a stone and making declarations, to establish that stone as the new foundation of his family. This act can enslave the entire family to the dictates of that stone, creating a long-term spiritual bondage.
When someone leaves such a foundation, they may face intense spiritual resistance. For instance, a person who becomes born again may experience increased spiritual attacks from the old foundation. These attacks can be severe, as the old foundation fights to reclaim the person or destroy them for leaving. Without addressing the old foundation and realigning with the new spiritual reality, the person may face significant challenges and even death.
The impact of a family foundation can be profound, influencing various aspects of life, including health and relationships. For example, a family with a history of divorce may experience repeated patterns of failed marriages across generations. Similarly, if a family has a history of certain health issues, such as diabetes, these issues can persist unless the spiritual foundation is addressed.
Even when an individual moves away from a problematic foundation and adopts new beliefs or practices, they may still experience residual effects of the old foundation. The spiritual inheritance from the old foundation can influence their life until it is completely severed and replaced with the new foundation.
In my personal experience, I faced a situation where the family foundation had a strong tendency towards diabetes. Despite warnings to avoid sugar, I found that I could consume it without adverse effects because I had spiritually moved out of that foundation and connected with a new spiritual family. This illustrates the power of spiritual foundations and the importance of addressing and overcoming them to achieve true freedom and health.
